The Olney Middle School Cubs split two games with Flora
- the Cubs won the 8th grade (2-2) game, 49-25
Led by Jack Thomann with 9 points and Brody Redman with 8 points
Mattey Sanders had 5 points and 7 rebounds
- Olney lost the 7th grade (1-1) game, 51-19
Owen Stroud had 6 points – Camden Welsh had 4 points and 5 rebounds
The Cubs are back in action this Saturday against St. Anthony in Effingham.

Newton Jasper County split two games with Robinson
- The Junior Eagles won the 8th grade (8-1) game, 53-42
Led by Eli Wolf with 14 points and Chance Mulvey with 13 points
Jasper County’s top rebounder was Mack Huber and top defender was Eli Wolf
- Jasper County lost the 7th grade (6-3) game, 37-19
Brenden Emmerich and Jacob Ferguson each had 7 points for Jasper County
The Junior Eagles will host North Clay tomorrow night in Newton.
