(OLNEY) It’s been announced that Pesticide Applicator/Operator In-Person testing will again be available locally this winter with sessions to be held in Richland, Edwards, and Wayne Counties. While the testing is free, provided by Illinois Extension and the Illinois Department of Agriculture, individuals must register in advance for the testing by visiting the Ag Department’s website at agr.illinois.gov/pesticides/in-person-testing.html or by calling the local Extension Offices : Richland County at 618-395-2191, Wayne County at 618-842-3702, Lawrence County at 618-943-5018, Edwards County at 618-445-2934, Wabash County at 618-262-5725. Here’s the list of upcoming testing dates from 10:00 to 1:00 at each site :
RICHLAND – Extension Office in Olney : December 4th, January 5th, February 13th.
EDWARDS – Farm Bureau Office in Albion : December 8th, January 12th, February 1st
WAYNE – Extenion Office in Fairfield : December 13th, January 18th, February 21st
