(OLNEY/NEWTON) Our early downstate area rain this morning will be followed by a dry period until later this afternoon and evening when our next wave of showers and possible storms will roll through, plus a marginal risk for severe weather along and south of I-70 with the primary hazards being strong winds and possible hail. While tomorrow will be mostly dry, other than some early morning rain, our warmest day of the week will be Friday as an approaching cold front will bring our final chance of rain on Saturday. Then we’ll finally see some sunshine Sunday, but more rain in the forecast by next Monday night into Tuesday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
