(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a cold front hangs over central Illinois and starts to waiver both north and south over the next 72 hours, we’ll have on-and-off chances of showers and maybe some thunderstorms today through tonight and right on through tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday here in our downstate area. Eventually the cold front will move out of Illinois by Saturday night, allowing some cooler air to move in for Sunday.
