REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a subtle short-wave weather system with some light rain or sprinkles moves across central Illinois and drops a little further south than anticipated into our downstate area, the sky will eventually dry up with some afternoon sunshine mixed in with some clouds. The cooler than yesterday air will then turn warmer tomorrow and Thursday before our next significant chance of rain moves through by Friday afternoon and ending that night. With a dry Saturday and most of Sunday, rain chances return Sunday night into Monday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
