REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a cold front moves across Illinois this morning, our overnight southwest wind will switch from the west/northwest and bring in a little cooler air for the weekend ahead, but more importantly, it could bring us more rain chances later today and tonight, although only light rain or sprinkles are likely, if any rain at all. Also today, the National Weather Service says that a fair amount of wildfire smoke will be mixed up in the cloud cover as well. Coming up next week, we’re expecting warmer and continued dry conditions. Listen for updates & monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast details.
