(OLNEY/NEWTON) While we’ll have another partly to mostly sunny sky today, a shortwave weather system over upstate Illinois could slip southward and give us a stray shower or pop up thunderstorm today, but they’ll be few and far between, if any at all. Otherwise it’s more heat and humidity in the forecast today and through the next several days, plus with an unsettled weather pattern, there will be daily chances of afternoon or evening showers or storms over the weekend.
