REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With an expansive high pressure from Canada into the Great Lakes region, a weak surface system is sitting just south of the Ohio River Valley, all combining to bring us more warmer-than-normal and dry weather conditions today through the first of next week, although there is an ever so slight chance of an isolated shower or some rain late this afternoon. Eventually an approaching cold front is expected to move through our downstate area by next Tuesday or Wednesday with maybe some rain and cooler air. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
