REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As 1 to 2 inches of snow fell in the past 24 hours along the Route 50 corridor and from 2 to 4 inches of snow with sleet further north, we’ll have a mostly cloudy and dry day on tap for this Friday. Yet another weather system will move through our downstate area tomorrow afternoon, bringing up to another inch or so of snow before ending Saturday night, however the frontal system will bring in more arctic air, giving us bitterly cold conditions for Saturday night, through the day on Sunday, and into most of Monday morning. Then we warm up Monday afternoon with significant warmth returning by midweek, next week. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
