(OLNEY/NEWTON) A semi-stationary frontal boundary will stall out over the southern half of Illinois by tonight, resulting in a wide range of warmer-than-normal temperatures today through tomorrow, plus as the boundary waivers north and south, our downstate area wind directions will vary and there will be on-and-off again chances of light rain or drizzle today through Christmas morning. Although we’ll stay warm and dry Friday and Saturday, we’ll have another chance of rain with some cooler air on Sunday and then colder air returning the first of next week.
