(BLOOMINGTON) Applications are now being accepted this year’s Young Leader Ag Industry Tour, which is set for July 13th through 19th, to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. While northern New England agriculture features diverse, smaller-scale family farms and specialty production, including maple syrup, dairy, blueberries, potatoes, and high-value produce, along with a strong emphasis on soil health and climate resilience, this year’s Ag Industry Tour will also highlight farm management, technology, and agronomic practices in each state. Those interested should contact their local Farm Bureau to register with the deadline of 4:00 on Tuesday, March 31st, two weeks from tomorrow.
