(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met last night in regular session. The Council : approved the payment of all bills as presented : approved a special one-day Class S Liquor License for the Olney Elks #926 : agreed to amend City of Olney Municipal Code to develop a $500 fee to establish extra Free Swim Days at the Musgrove Aquatic Center next year : discussed, but took no action on fencing for the North Side of the Musgrove Park Playground with more information needed : also discussed, but took no action on amending the City of Olney Municipal Code on Zoning : did agree to seek bids for needed material for the Eastgate Storm Sewer Project : agreed to continue working with the company Solar Connect on a project that would include a new roof at Pacific Cycle at no cost to the City of Olney : agreed to take bids to sell city owned property in the Industrial Park : and noted a state permit for the North Avenue waterline project has been received : a closed session was held to discuss real property, litigation, & personnel : next Olney City Council meeting is September 8th.
