(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met in regular session last night. The Council approved the payment of all bills as presented : accepted the $17,500 quote to repair electrical services at the Miller’s Grove pump house at East Fork Lake : on a 3 to 2 vote, amended the 2025-2026 Olney Industrial Commission budget to spend $6,000, with a $6,000 match from the RCDC, to sign a contract with Placer.ai to provide the City with software to track visitors to Olney with market and retail reports and more : discussed, but took no action on the 2025 Tax Levy which will be considered at the Council’s next meeting : heard presentations on the separate firefighters and police pension funds : then approved the pension fund requests for the Tax Levy : amended the 2025-2026 Police Department budget for an Organized Retail Crime Grant that will save the City $6,000 for camera system upgrades : and did not have an executive session as scheduled : the Olney City Council’s next regular meeting will be Monday, December 8th, 2025.
