(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met in regular session last night. The Council : approved the payment of all bills as presented : discussed and then approved the lease between the City of Olney and the Richland County Farm & Fair Association for use of the Olney City Park for the Richland County Fair : approved the annual contribution to the Richland County Development Corporation : approved an Intergovernmental Agreement with Richland County for the use and access of the City’s radio tower for better communications : approved an ordinance to amend Chapter 5.12 for Liquor Control – while prices were updated, a new special non-profit event license was added, referred to as the SNE License : agreed to seek a base bid for the resurfacing project of Main Street from Route 130 to Van Street with additional projects to be considered : and then adjourned until the next meeting on March 9th, 2026. There was no executive session at last night’s meeting of the Olney City Council.
