(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met earlier this week on Monday night. The Board : approved the payment of all but one of the Village’s bills, as presented : followed the recommendation of its Personnel Committee to hire Village Treasurer Cindy Manuel as the new Village Clerk with the retirement of Tresa Hundley in December & agreed to advertise for a part-time secretary position for one day a week with applications accepted until November 14th at Village Hall : agreed to purchase two new Yealink telephones through Amazon at a cost of $133 each : took no action on a request from the IECC Terry L. Bruce West Richland Center in Noble to rip rap a nearby ditch, however more information is needed : noted that Village workers flushed selected fire hydrants last week with no issues reported : noted Village employees patched an area of sidewalk on West Cherry Street : noted the Village’s utility tractor has been picked up for repair work to the hydraulics on the bucket with the estimated cost of approximately $1,2o0 or less : noted that Trick or Treat Night in Noble will be Saturday night, October 25th, from 6:00 to 8:00 : noted that Noble Lions Club Halloween activities will be Friday night, October 24th, in the Village Park, with the Cake Walk at 6:30 and Halloween Parade at 7:00 : the next regular meeting of the Noble Village Board is scheduled for Monday night, October 27th.
