(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met this past Monday night for a regularly scheduled meeting. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : approved the purchase of two culverts from DK Tank & Pipes at cost of $606 with a delivery fee of $100 : heard what’s needed to be OSHA compliant with possible grant monies available – no action taken : noted that with the City of Olney changing the disinfectant in the water distribution system, Noble water customers may notice a stronger chlorine smell while the maintenance process continues for the several days : also noted that the Village of Noble will be flushing water hydrants throughout the Village starting early Wednesday morning, April 8th : noted that with a few written complaints about dogs in the Village being tethered, letters about being compliant with be sent out : noted that Village workers will begin storm damage cleanup in the Village Park when everything is cleared with the insurance company : heard an update on the Village’s Sewer Lagoon project : agreed to close North Noble Avenue, between Elm and Poplar Streets for the May Fest Car Show scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd : noted that the next Village budget meeting has been changed to April 29th, at 6:00, at Village Hall : next meeting for the Noble Village Board will be April 13th, 2026.
