(OLNEY) The Illinois Eastern Community College District Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting in December this past Tuesday night at Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel and following a public hearing on the Tax Levy, the Board certified the 2025 Tax Levy – the rates for the District’s two primary funds, operation & maintenance and education, were held flat over 2024 rates and the overall rate is projected to be reduced by approximately 4% : the Board set the meeting dates, times, and locations for 2026 – the schedule establishes that the Trustees will meet on the third Tuesday of every month with the exception of the December meeting, which will be the second Tuesday of the month : waived a second reading and approved revisions to four policies, including those for Tenure, for Employee Recognition, for Online Curriculum & Course Development, and for Educational Curriculum & Course Development : approved the FY2025 Annual Financial Report as presented : approved the tuition rates for FY2027, which will be effective with Summer & Fall Classes in 2026 : and in personnel – approved the resignations from Dan Brant as O&M Team Lead at OCC and from Chase Bramlet as English Literature Instructor at WVC : the IECC Board’s next regular meeting is January 20th, 2026.
