multiple teams took part in the Olney Invitational at Olney Central College
GIRLS
Olney won the 13-team event by beating out second place Newton, 56 to 85
Fairfield, Princeton, and Mattoon rounded out to top five
then Effingham, Centralia, Robinson, Dieterich, and Teutopolis
Olney’s Josie Ginder won the race with 101 total runners
Olney’s Bella Stevens was 2nd, Briley Kocher was 14th, and Lily Stevens was 17th
Newton’s Layna Marshall as 4th, Avery Geier was 10th, and Heather Bergbower was 11th
BOYS
Olney finished second to Herrin, 66 to 54 while Newton finished in seventh place
rounding out the top five were Georgetown, Mattoon, and Fairfield
others in the top ten were Princeton, Robinson, Effingham, and Lawrenceville
Olney’s Quaid Berger won the race with 162 total runners
Olney Judah Dicks was 3rd, Triston Butler was 4th, and Landon Livingston was 14th
Newton was led by Tanner Whitaker (35th) and Hayden Borgic (37th)
Olney’s runners are scheduled to run at the Nike Twilight Invitational October 4th
