(NEWTON) in High School Volleyball from Saturday –
Newton played at the St. Anthony Tournament
the Lady Eagles won two of their three pool play matches
beating Unity in two games and beating Triad in two games
Newton only pool play loss was to Waterloo in two games
then in crossover play the Lady Eagles beat St. Anthony in three games
but then loss in the championship match, falling to Waterloo in two games
the Lady Eagles are scheduled to host Lawrenceville Thursday night
