(OLNEY) The investigation continues into a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at 11:00 this past Monday morning along Illinois Route 130 in Richland County. Authorities report 60 year old Elaine Blankenship of West Salem was traveling northbound on Route 130, just over a mile northwest of Parkersburg, when her vehicle veered off the highway, striking a ditch embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over near North Woods Lane. Blankenship and a passenger, 61 year old Lisa Maher, also of West Salem, were both airlifted by helicopter to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by emergency personnel at the crash scene.
