(OLNEY) Illinois Extension and the Lawrence County SWCD are inviting area women in agriculture to attend an upcoming seminar entitled “Women and the Land : Spotlight on Conservation” which is an Annie’s Project inspired event. The free seminar will be held Tuesday, March 17th, from 9:00 to 2:00 at the Farm Credit Illinois office, located on West Haven Road, Lawrenceville. Attendees will learn how to analyze farm finances, discover local programs & resources available to farmers, explore how conservation practices can reduce nutrient loss, and more. With lunch provided by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, registration is required by March 13th by calling the Richland County Extension Office in Olney at 618-395-2191 or by going online at go.illinois.edu/WomenAndTheLand.
