(OLNEY) The IECC Board of Trustees had a special meeting this past Wednesday (9/3/25) morning at the IECC District Office in Olney to discuss personnel, litigation, and collective negotiating matters, all in executive session. While no formal action was taken after returning to open session, the Board did issue a statement regarding recent labor negotiations with the District’s Faculty Association. It was earlier this year that the two tentatively reached a collective bargaining agreement extending through August 2026, however the full agreement has not been submitted for ratification by the Association, in fact, the Board states that some of the agreement has been rewritten. The IECC Board’s next regular monthly meeting will be September 16th at FCC in Fairfield.
