THIS WEEK’S RICHLAND COUNTY RAINFALL REPORT (05/29/2024)

(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report for the past week. With the reporting period ending at 8:00 this past Monday morning, the county’s highest total of rain was three inches & four tenths (3.40) at the Farm Bureau Office in Olney and in German Township, followed by three inches & two tenths (3.20) in Preston Township and two inches & nine tenths (2.90) in Decker Township. Both Olney Township and one of the Claremont Township sites had two inches & seven tenths (2.70), followed by Bonpas, Noble, & Madison Townships, all with two & a half inches (2.50) of rain. Then the other Claremont Township site had two inches & three tenths (2.30) and the county’s lowest amount of rain recorded over the past week was in Denver Township with two inches & two tenths (2.20). Here at the WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Richland County, we recorded just under 2.8 inches, at two inches & seventy-eight hundredths (2.78).
