THURSDAY RESULTS (4/9/26)

(OLNEY) in High School Softball yesterday –  

Olney beat Arthur-Christian, 5-3 

as the visiting Lady Tigers outhit their opponents, 8 to 4 

Kaiya Seessengood was the winning pitcher, striking out 8 in the complete 7 inning game 

Taylor Bloomer led Olney with a home run and a single with 2 RBI and a run scored  

Addison McLaughlin doubled and singled with a run scored 

Kaiya Seessengood homered with an RBI and a run scored  

Kennedy Knox and Kaitlin Kocher each had an RBI hit 

Jaylen Gwyn walked, stole a base, and scored and Marissa McLaren had a single 

the (7-2) Lady Tigers are scheduled to play next week

(NEWTON) in High School Softball yesterday –  

Newton lost a tough extra inning game at Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, 5-4 

the visiting Lady Eagles were outhit by the host Lady Hatchets, 12 to 4 

Allie Hermann singled, walked, and scored a run  

other hits by Jacee Dhom, Lexie Ghast, and Paige Wagner  

Newton’s other runs were scored by Gabby Flowers, Emma Brooks, and Izzy Meinhart 

the (7-4) Lady Eagles are scheduled to host South Central later today

Casey-Westfield beat BHRA, 17-4 

Mt. Carmel beat Cisne, 20-0

Vandalia beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 17-12
