THURSDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (01/23/2025)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With some light snow flurries passing through central Illinois, along and north of I-70, a cold front will move across the state by later today, giving us a wind switch from southwest to northwest. This will bring in a reinforced shot of cold air for another night, but a warming trend in the forecast will kick in Friday with above normal temperatures expected over the next two weeks. At this point in time, there is no snow or rain in the forecast through the end of January. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather and forecast details.
