(OLNEY/NEWTON) With sunshine this morning, clouds will increase in our downstate area later today as the remnants of Hurricane Helene move northwestward into the Midwest by this weekend. As the widespread rain moves in tomorrow and continues through Friday night into Saturday, the rain chances start to decrease Saturday night through Sunday. Plus with the rain, the wind will be strong and gusty from the northeast Friday through Saturday as well. At least one to two inches of rain are expected for our area with more maybe south of Route 50 and east of I-57.
