THURSDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (12/12/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) A high pressure ridge centered over the Upper Midwest this morning will give us a dry day on this Thursday, although a mostly cloudy sky will prevail with maybe some sunshine at times. With a little warmer air in place tomorrow to wrap up the work week, we’ll still have plenty of clouds and a dry sky. But that will change by Saturday afternoon as a southeasterly wind flow will bring in some warmer air and rain for our downstate area. While the rain should end Sunday morning with maybe some afternoon sunshine, we’re back to more rain chances will still mild weather conditions on tap for Monday. Then we’re dry and a little cooler into midweek, next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
