THURSDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION

(OLNEY/NEWTON) A fast-moving shortwave weather disturbance to our north will move across the state with a strong warm front to our south. Therefore, we’ll have plenty of clouds today, a slight chance of some light rain this afternoon, warmer-than-normal high temperatures, and a strong, gusty, south wind for this Thursday. The warm air will hang around through Friday as well before cooler air returns for the dry weekend coming up. Our next downstate chance of rain will move in next Monday with more warmer-than-normal air moving by the end of next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
