(NEWTON) The Jasper County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest, but time is running out for entries. Local businesses, teams, classes, organizations, and clubs are encouraged to decorate those pumpkins and email pictures to sdk.jccc@gmail.com by the end of the day tomorrow, October 24th. The online voting by the public will then begin next Monday, the 27th, and winners will be announced next Friday, on Halloween, October 31st. The top three vote getters in the business/organization category will get a donation made to the charity of their choice. The top three vote getters in the school/team/club category will get donuts.
