Today, November 15th, has been designated as School Board Members Day in Illinois—a special occasion to recognize and honor the nearly 6,000 elected school board members across the state. This day serves as a reminder to thank those who dedicate their time and efforts to the education and success of students in our communities, as well as to encourage others to consider serving in school board positions in future elections.
