TUESDAY RESULTS (4/7/26)

(OLNEY) in High School Softball yesterday –

Olney doubled up a good Effingham squad, 4-2

as the hits were even in the game with team having 7, plus no errors in the game as well

Natalie Ochs was the winning pitcher, striking out 8 in the complete 7 inning game

Kennedy Knox led Olney at the plate with 2 RBI from a sacrifice fly and a single

Taylor Bloomer had an RBI hit and Addison McLaughlin doubled and scored

Clara Williams had 2 hits and a run scored, plus Jaylen Gwyn singled and scored

Olney’s other hit from Kenzly Bryan

the (6-2) Lady Tigers are scheduled to play tomorrow at Arthur Christian

(NEWTON) in High School Softball yesterday –  

Newton beat Pana, 11-5 

the Lady Eagles outhit the host Lady Panthers, 14 to 7 

Karly Deckard was the winning pitcher, striking out 5 in 5 innings of work 

Jorjia Reich had 2 triples and a single with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored  

Claire Probst had a double and 2 singles with 1 RBI, 3 stolen bases, and 3 runs scored  

Lexie Ghast tripled and singled with an RBI and Karly Deckard had an RBI hit 

Audrie Reich had a two-run home run with a run scored  

the (7-3) Lady Eagles are scheduled to play at Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg tomorrow
