(OLNEY/NEWTON) Get ready for a roller coaster ride weatherwise over the next several days and nights. With a cold front passing through overnight, our current northerly wind flow has returned some cooler air to our downstate area with not much of a warm up expected on this Tuesday, although we could see some sunshine through the clouds today. As an upper level disturbance brings a chance of some drizzle and/or freezing rain by early tomorrow morning, most of the precipitation will stay to our north, but then as our rain chances continue tomorrow, a warm front moves in with warmer air on tap for Thursday with some lingering rain chances. We’ll dry out with some colder air in place Friday, before more rain chances Saturday and colder air returning for a mostly dry Sunday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more rollercoaster forecast details.
