(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a high pressure ridge hanging over our downstate area, we’ll have mostly sunshine today with some afternoon clouds mixed in as above normal temperatures return today through the rest of the week. However, a weak boundary will cover northern Illinois today with some scattered rain expected there. Rain chances for us are back in the forecast for Friday and Friday night as our next cold front moves through, but it clears out for a dry and pleasant weekend coming up.
