(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a strong low pressure system in the Northern Plains approaches our downstate area from the west, we’ll have another somewhat mild weather day with plenty of sunshine on tap for this Tuesday. But as the frontal boundary moves closer, we’ll have more clouds tonight and another chance of rain after midnight, continuing through tomorrow morning before ending. Then we’re back to dry conditions and some sunshine on Wednesday afternoon before colder air returns for the rest of the work week and for the weekend ahead, however no precipitation is expected over the following several days and nights, that is after the next 12 to 15 hours. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
