(OLNEY) The Richland County Health Office has announced that it will begin “open flu shot” clinics every Wednesday for an 10-week period, starting September 17th running through October and November. The clinic hours each Wednesday will be each morning from 8:00 to 12:00 and each afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00. While no appointments are needed on flu shot clinic days, those who cannot make it on a Wednesday can call the Health Office at 618-392-6241 to set up an appointment to receive a flu vaccination. The vaccines available include Fluzone, Flublok, and High Dose for those age 65 & over. So the first “flu shot” clinic at the Richland County Health Office is coming up on Wednesday, September 17th.
