(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA has announced that its NASS will later this month send out the Hemp Production & Disposition Survey to 249 producers in Illinois, which will measure changes from the NASS Hemp Acreage & Production survey taken in 2023. This year’s survey will collect information on the total planted and harvested area, plus yield, production, and value of hemp for 2024. With all the information to remain totally confidential, the hemp producers can take the survey on the agcounts.usda.gov website, or by mail or fax. Those not responding by January 30th will be contacted. Survey results will be available in April.
