(NEWTON) The City of Newton has announced a scheduled water outage this Monday morning, running from 9:00 to approximately 1:00 or 2:00 this afternoon. The areas affected includes :
- Barton Street, from Curtis to Maxwell
- all of Charleston Street
- all of Absher Place
- East Curtis Street, from Barton to the dead end
Once the water service has been restored, the entire area will be under a boil water order until further notice. The City of Newton appreciates the patience of all at this time. For further updates, the public is encouraged to monitor the City of Newton’s page on Facebook.
