at the Class 2A Regional at Robinson

Newton extended its season with a semi-final win over Salem, 67-58

led by Hayden Mulvey with 20 points and Drake Wolf with 15 points

Kody Bergbower had a double/double, with 14 points and 11 rebounds

the 17-13 Eagles now play Teutopolis in the championship game tomorrow night

the Wooden Shoes won the other semi-final game over Mt. Carmel, 50-43

at the Class 2A Regional at Vandalia

Olney had its season end with a tough 3-point loss to Fairfield, 37-40

Carsyn Ameter led the Tigers with 17 points

Reid Brown added 9 points and Carter Seaman had 7 points

Olney finishes the year with a record of 10-22

the Mules move on to play the host Vandals in tomorrow night’s championship game

Vandalia had a mild upset win in the other semi-final game over St. Anthony, 50-48
