WEEKEND RESULTS (11/29-30/25)

(LAWRENCEVILLE/BRIDGEPORT) in Boys High School Basketball from the weekend 

the Lawrenceville Indians won the Capital Classic with a title game win over Teutopolis, 56-51 

Vincennes Lincoln won the third place game over Fairfield, 49-45 

Olney beat Mt. Carmel in the fifth place game, 58-33 

Salem beat Red Hill in the seventh place game, 81-72 

four Indians were named to the eleven player All Tournament Team 

led by the Most Valuable Player from Lawrenceville, Zander Cessna  

all from Lawrenceville were Jacek Mickiewicz, Jayden Goff, and Noah Wilson  

Olney’s Casey Thomann  

Teutopolis’ Gavin Addis and Landyn Thoele  

Vincennes Lincoln’s Leyton Battles

(GREENUP) in Boys High School Basketball from the weekend –  

the Cumberland Thanksgiving Tournament was cut short due to the weather  

none of the final four games were played Saturday and cancelled  

however, the championship game will be played tonight at Cumberland High School 

the Casey-Westfield versus North Clay/Clay City title game is tonight at around 7:45 

that will be after Cumberland plays Casey-Westfield in girls high school action at 6:00
