(MATTOON) The funeral service for William Otis “Bill” Whightsel, age 69, formerly of Mattoon, will be held Saturday afternoon, August 16, 2025, at 12:00, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, with burial to follow in the Trexler Cemetery, west of Newton. There is no visitation.
