REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s more roller coaster weather for our downstate area over the next several days and nights. With regional rainfall averaging around a half inch over the past 24 hours, we’ll dry out today some afternoon sunshine but with a cold west/northwest wind. Then with the wind switching from the south tonight, warmer air will move in for tomorrow, followed by another wind direction switch from the northwest late Saturday night and some cooler air back for Sunday, but with plenty of sunshine. That’s all followed by much warmer than normal air moving in for next week and maybe some record high temperatures for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
