REMINDERS

(NOBLE) The Village of Noble is celebrating the retirement of Village Clerk and Secretary Tresa Hundley by hosting an “Open House” at the Noble Village Hall tomorrow, on Tuesday, December 23rd, during normal business hours from 8:00 to 12:00 in the morning and from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. All are welcome to stop by and celebrate as there will be plenty of cake and punch as refreshments. That’s tomorrow at the Village Hall in Noble.

(OLNEY) The Olney City Council will have its final regular meeting of 2025 tonight in the Council Chambers at Olney City Hall, starting at 6:00. With a rather short agenda, it will include an executive session to discuss real property and personnel. The meeting is open to the public.

(OLNEY) The Richland County 4-H clubs and members are now gathering donations of personal care items and winter clothing for their Clean and Cozy New Year SWAN Drive, with items collected including deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, razors, feminine hygiene products, socks, gloves, hats, coats, and men’s sweatpants in sizes large and extra-large. The donated items can be dropped off at the Richland County Extension Office at 306 South Fair Street in Olney during regular office hours on weekdays from 8:00 to 12:00 or 1:00 to 4:30 with all donation accepted now through January 16th, 2026. However, the office will be closed for the holidays, this Wednesday, December 24th, through Thursday, January 1st.
