(SPRINGFIELD) Prices for most fertilizer products in Illinois are a little lower heading into Christmas and the new year. However, with the average price for anhydrous ammonia up to nearly $843 per ton as of two weeks ago, the price is $4.09 per ton higher than on November 28th. Other state price averages dropped during the same time period, including phosphate, potash, and urea. The average cost for liquid nitrogen was unchanged from a month ago.
