(OLNEY) The City of Olney’s leaf collection program is coming to an end and citizens should have the last of any leaf piles at the curb no later than this coming Sunday, December 28th. While the leaves should be as close to the roadway as possible, the loose leaves should not be placed in ditches or in the streets. Residents do not have to call City Hall. Plus, remember that other than being closed for holidays, the City’s Brush Dump is open from 10:00 to 4:00 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. And by the way, the leaf collection programs in both the City of Newton and the Village of Noble are now over and no longer in effect.
