at the Class 2A Regional at Evergreen Park in Effingham
Newton shutout LIC foe Robinson in semi-final action, 7-0
the Eagles outhit the Maroons, 11 to 4
Carson Barthelme was the winning pitcher, striking out 5 in the complete 7 inning game
Dominic Baltzell led Newton with 3 hits, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored
Quincy Fulton doubled and singled with 2 runs scored
Drake Wolf had 2 hits and 2 RBI and Maddox Horner had 2 hits and a run scored
Reed Tharp and Chance Mulvey each had a hit
the Eagles head to the Regional Championship game Saturday morning at 11:00

Effingham moves into the Regional Championship game Saturday morning at 11:00
