OCC Lady Knights Tip-Off Dinner to Feature Indiana Basketball Star Tyra Buss
Basketball fans in Olney and throughout the region will have a special opportunity to hear from one of Indiana basketball’s most accomplished players when Tyra Buss serves as the keynote speaker for the OCC Lady Knights Tip-Off Dinner on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The annual event will be held at Olney Central College, 305 N. West Street in Olney, Illinois, with the dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Tip-Off Dinner are $30 and include a meal catered by the OCC Knight Kafe.
Buss, a former Mount Carmel High School and Indiana University standout, is set to headline the evening as the Lady Knights prepare for another basketball season. During her time with the Indiana Hoosiers, Buss established herself as one of the most productive players in program history and became a standout name in Indiana women’s basketball.
In addition to the keynote address, the evening will feature a live auction and a 50/50 drawing. Organizers note that the live auction and 50/50 are cash or check only.
The OCC Lady Knights Tip-Off Dinner offers fans, supporters, alumni and members of the community a chance to come together, enjoy dinner and get an inside look at the upcoming season while supporting Olney Central College athletics.
