(NEWTON) The Illinois Judges Association (IJA) has announced a Fourth Judicial Circuit Judge was recently presented with the Presidential Leadership Award last month, in December. Judge Amanda S. Ade-Harlow, currently serving as the Resident Circuit Judge for Shelby County, was presented the award for her work in updating handbooks that assist all member judges in the judicial selection and retention process. It was one of only six (6) awards presented by the IJA. Judge Ade-Harlow has been a judge in the Fourth Judicial Circuit since 2016. The Fourth Judicial Circuit consists of nine regional counties, including Jasper, Effingham, Clay, Marion, Fayette, Clinton, Christian, Montgomery, and Shelby.
