ISP TROOP 9 ROADSIDE SAFETY CHECK RESULTS

The Illinois State Police Troop 9, based in Effingham, has released the results of a recent Roadside Safety Check conducted in Richland County this past December. During the check, Troopers issued a total of 14 tickets and citations. Below are the local results from the operation:

• 5 tickets issued
• 3 written warnings
• 3 alcohol and/or drug-related citations
• 2 registration offenses
• 2 driver’s license offenses

There were no DUI arrests, and no citations were issued for occupant restraint or insurance violations.
