ANNUAL SHRINE DANCE IN JASPER COUNTY
(NEWTON) Get ready for the Jasper County Annual Shrine Dance, now less than two weeks away, coming up on Saturday night, March 14th, starting at 8:00 that night. The $10.00 per person tickets are available in advance at all twelve locations, from any Jasper County Shriner, or that night at the door, with all proceeds to help the local Shriners help area children in need. The participating businesses include :
- BJ’s, featuring The Gunslingers from 4:00 to 7:00
- The Railyard, in Dieterich, with a dinner special from 5:00 to 8:00
- The Hill, southeast of Ste. Marie, featuring The Smoke Rings
- Parklanes Bowling Alley, with a dinner special and a DJ
- The Muddy Saloon, featuring The Andy King Band
- The Blacktop, in Dieterich, featuring Backroad Boogie
- Hi-Benders, featuring The Hagens and Guy Ash
- MVP with DJ Ian
- The Sky Saloon, featuring Hard Knox
- The West Side, with a free jukebox
- Harry’s, in Dieterich, featuring Flight Fifty
- The Newton American Legion Post 20, featuring Absent Ground
