(STE. MARIE) The Ste. Marie American Legion will be serving up “walking tacos” this coming Sunday evening, starting at 4:30, plus the Legion’s Queen of Hearts drawing follows at around 6:00. Tickets now on sale. All are invited out this Sunday evening to the Legion in Ste. Marie.
(OLNEY) The next Queen of Hearts drawing at the Olney VFW Post is this coming Sunday afternoon at 4:00, with the $1.00 tickets on sale all this week and always open to the public. The new jackpot is over $5,000. All proceeds support the VFW Post Home and local Veterans.
(OLNEY) The First Assembly of God Church in Olney will have a “Block Party” this Saturday from 10:30 to 1:00 at 2408 East Main Street. Open to all ages, the free event will have free food, a bounce house, balloon twisting, cotton candy, snow cones, free giveaways, and much more. That’s Saturday at the First Assembly of God, along Main Street, near the east edge of Olney.

To be located just northwest of the Grandstands, items available this weekend will include handmade crafts & items, garden plant starts, fresh baked goods, freeze-dried snacks, fresh produce, canned goods, frozen meat products, and much more. (NOBLE) A reminder that this Saturday is Village-wide Garage Sales throughout the Village of Noble. Folks are encouraged to make plans to visit Noble this coming Saturday.
(OLNEY) Project Community’s “White Squirrel Roubaix (Roo-bay’), an Updated Version of an Olney Classic” from year’s past is slated for this coming Saturday in the Olney City Park, with cycling to begin at 9:00. Participants can sign up earlier for one of the two cycling events, either 50k or 20k. Plus there will be various vendors, concessions, music, and more as well. (NEWTON) The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 20 will take over the grill this Friday night at the Newton American Legion Post 20 with serving from 5:00 until all gone. The menu includes a choice of pork burgers or bratswurst and two sides for only $8 per person. Served by Squadron 20 members, all the proceeds go to support Squadron 20 programs and activities. It’s all open to the public this Friday evening at 108 East Jourdan Street in Newton. See you there.
